Headquartered in Northern Israel, StePac L.A. Ltd. was founded in 1992 and is today a part of UK-based DS Smith Plc.
Our Xtend® and Xsense™ products and services serve the fresh produce industry with post-harvest, modified atmosphere/modified humidity packaging solutions custom engineered for each fruit/vegetable type. Our CARERITE® line of sterilization and infection control products are sold to medical, dental and veterinary clinics.
Our diversified team of scientists and marketers are proficient in polymer science, microbiology, infection control, chemical engineering, post-harvest science and fresh produce logistics.

In addition to our main laboratories and manufacturing facilities in the Tefen Industrial Park, Israel, we operate a fully equipped, post-harvest laboratory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Lab and field experiments and trials are often performed in collaboration with renowned research institutes such as The Israel Volcani Institute, ARC (South Africa), INIA (Chile), INTA (Argentina) and EMBRAPA (Brazil).
To support the global agricultural industry, we maintain sales and technical support offices and representatives at 16 locations around the world. Our main sales offices are in the UK, the United States, Brazil, Turkey, and Guatemala.
StePac products are ISO 9001 certified, BRC for food packaging FDA registered, ADA approved, and CE marked, HACCP certified.
